A Wedding at Home...on the farm

This Gorgeous Event took place at a couples home on their farm in New Jersey! This couple was going for a homey and comfy feel to match the rustic setting but still retain a formal yet fun atmosphere with a touch of whimsy. How did they achieve this look? By pairing fun colors brought in through the linens and flowers with rustic details brought in with the walnut ballroom chairs and rattan chargers. The whimsical details came through in the custom stationery by Couture Papers, polka dot ribbons on the napkins and hanging paper lanterns!

The whole look started with the invites...Its important to have a source of inspiration to keep you grounded so when  you are out and about you can keep your eye out for little details that may be perfect for your event! The wood boxes that the flowers were set in can be found at any number of places including your local craft stores, antique markets and online. Ribbon is also a great way to bring in a touch of whimsy, while you can always shop your local craft store also keep in mind online stores that sell in bulk and check out your local fabric stores for fun trim and beading!
