Get this look: Fancy Place Settings

A fancy place setting can really take your wedding up a notch and give it a truly custom look! Charger plates are a great addition to any table but can be costly, for a less expensive route try renting a base plate in a fun china pattern for a fraction of the cost. You can also ask your venue if they have additional plates they can put down as a base plate. Napkins are also a great way to infuse some color into your place setting, you can rent a basic poly cotton for about a $1, then you an dress it up with some ribbon, bling, raffia, bear grass...the possibilities are endless. If you are interested in doing something like this, ask your venue if you and your Bridesmaids can come in a day or 2 before your wedding and do all the napkin treatments, typically if your doing anything other then a standard napkin fold the venue won't do it for you. Another Tip, keep you eye out around the holidays, with all the fancy sparkle and ornaments on sale you may be able to find something that can be used as a decorative item on your place setting. Menus also not only let guests know what their eating but also add great aesthetic value to your tabletop. There are tons of great options on line and of course this is a great DIY project. Check out your local craft stores and get creative with fun papers and fancy punchers in every shape you can imaging! Check out some of these looks.

This Invitation Suite was created for a modern yet formal and elegant affair.  The start to the look  was creating a custom “seal” with a damask like emblem and the couples names. StemSational!

Doing fun stem treatments on bouquets is one of the things I love! Its really important to give your girls  bouquets that have some personality and set them apart from a standard bridesmaid bouquet. In this look the ribbons were used in the 3 colors of the wedding to create different stem treatments for each bridesmaid and then detailed with pearl head pins. How do you get this look, be creative! Spend some time playing around with the ribbons, twirling them and tying them in knots to see what you come up with up!

Jewel Tone Drama

Check out this great event featuring a jeweled tone color palette. Its a great look for any time of year for a bride looking for bling and drama! This look features 3 colors, dusty violet, magenta and lilac. The look was inspired by the iridescent bridesmaid’s gowns.  3 linens in those colors were used to give the room a unique look and add depth and the flowers were created in a gradient pattern moving from dark up to light, the star of the show, the antique hydrangeas!
